JUMPSTART USA... Bringing Our Successful Model Nationwide
JUMPSTART Vision
Powered by the gospel of Jesus Christ and with men and women serving as His hands and feet, we imagine a day when the back of recidivism is broken in our nation, and beyond.
JUMPSTART Mission
We disciple the incarcerated and assist returning citizens with
re-entry services in partnership with donors, churches, and community partners.
JUMPSTART Unity
We are hundreds of volunteers being of one mind and heart; sent as faithful stewards to disciple and serve the incarcerated and returning citizens.
95% of the
incarcerated
population
in our nation
will one day
be released.

More than 7,100
men and women
have participated in
JUMPSTART since its
inception in 2008.

More than 3,050
graduates have been
released with over 96%
staying out of prison.
JUMPSTART graduates are successful at staying out of prison!

JUMPSTART desires that
graduates thrive and can
do so when they:
-
Are gainfully employed in positions that pay a living wage and have growth potential
-
Live in stable housing
-
Are members of a local church
-
Utilize sound financial principles to live within their means and meet their obligations
-
Have a healthy support network, and often become leaders within their communities
-
Live surrendered lives to Jesus Christ
-
Live out God's purpose for their life
We believe God’s future is greater than our past.
JUMPSTART USA was formed in 2015 to bring our prison ministry nationwide, and beyond. God has given us a desire to touch more lives by faithfully sharing the successful JUMPSTART model launched in South Carolina in 2008.
