JUMPSTART was formed to continue and expand on JUMPSTART’S mission to reduce recidivism. JUMPSTART assists offenders (through an inside program) underway - in 9 NC prisons and will serve successful graduates in their transition to become productive and contributing members of society.

Has JUMPSTART North Carolina started operating inside of any prisons in North Carolina?

Yes. In May 2022, we began serving by delivering the 40-week inside program at Davidson Correctional in Lexington, NC. Today, the program is up and running in 12 prisons in NC: Davidson, Columbus, Greene, Albemarle, Piedmont, Carteret, Tabor, Eastern, Wake, Randolph, Pamlico, Sampson

VISION  Powered by the gospel of Jesus Christ and with men and women serving as His hands and feet, we imagine a day when the back of recidivism is broken in our state, nation, and beyond.

MISSION  We disciple the incarcerated and assist returning citizens with re-entry services in partnership with donors, churches, and community partners.

JUMPSTART USA, EIN 47-4829697, located at 951 South Pine St, Spartanburg, SC 29302 has a mission to reduce recidivism and assist ex-offenders in their successful transition to become productive and contributing members of society.

JUMPSTART is not a private foundation as defined as Section 509(a) of the code.
